On-Air Personality
Jim is a logical choice to present "America's Best Music." He's been in the radio business for 40 years (and a member of WMBS for more than 30 years), and he says he remembers as a kid growing up in McKeesport watching the "Big People" setting those 78RPM Records on the victrola and listening to those great old Big Band classics from the World War II Era. He recalls his own little 45 RPM record player, allowing him to hear all those wonderful songs from the 50's.
The nice thing about this format, he says "It is the opportunity to present a great variety of songs and styles.... from A to Z, or from ABBA to Sy Zentner." It's the standards and so much more which adds to the appeal of the "America's Best Music" and Jim hopes you will make it a regular habit to join him and all of us here at WMBS 590 AM for some of the best music ever recorded.

On-Air Personality
Timothy's radio career started more than three decades ago in Southwestern PA. As with most Air Personalities, Tim started out doing news and weekend jock work as a way to "Pay his dues". His first full-time job in radio was as an announcer on a brand-new radio station which promised to play contemporary music on the F.M. band which, until the early 70's, was essentially reserved for symphonic music.
For more than 30 years, now, Timothy has been heard on a number of radio stations in the tri-state area. He was the morning voice on WMBS from the late 70's until 2003 when he moved to his new Mid-Day spot, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge of and love for the music of your life.
Timothy occasionally does freelance announcing and has been heard on business answering machines, industrial training films and some TV.

"Co-Host of Coach K's Corner" Steve Superick, along with Brian Mroziak make up "The WMBS Sports Broadcast Team" for Uniontown Red Raider Football and Laurel Highlands Baseball. He is also co-host of Coach “Ks” Corner. A Tri-State PGA member since 1990, Steve came to the local area as the Head Golf Professional at Uniontown Country Club in 1996. Steve has been a consistent member of the TSPGA year-end point leaders for the past 15 seasons highlighted by wins at the 96, 97, 98 Greater Parkersburg Open, the 04 Uniontown Country Club Fall Classic, and a finalist at the 1999 Remax World Long Drive Championship in Mesquite, NV. Before turning to a career in golf, Steve had been a four year All-East punter for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Although he earned all-state honors in NJ as a quarterback and place kicker (without actually ever punting in a high school game), he found himself punting in the starting lineup as a true freshman. To this day he still holds many of the punting records at WVU. After trying the NFL on and off for 2 seasons (brief stays with Pittsburgh Steelers & Houston Oilers), he turned his career path towards the golf business. Today, he currently is the northeastern senior rep advisor for Srixon Sports USA, a worldwide leader in Golf Ball and club manufacturing. A true lover of all stick-and-ball sports, Steve also enjoys donating his time coaching local youth baseball, basketball, & football.
